SEU's are Scrum Education Units. In order to maintain a certification from the Scrum Alliance, a member must obtain a certain number or SEU's every two-year renewal period. A member can obtain SEU's by participating in various activities including attending events, webinars or taking additional training. If you are unsure how many SEU's you currently hold, you may login to your Scrum Alliance account.
PDU's are Professional Development Units handed out by the Project Management Institute. Each PDU is equivalent to an hour of learning, teaching or volunteering. By accumulating and maintaining a certain number of PDU's, a user maintains their certification status within the Project Management Institute (PMI). To check your current amount or status, login to your PMI account.
The certification is all done through the certifying body (Scrum Alliance, ICagile, PMI, etc.) but authorized by your course instructor. You will get a notification from the certification body with your account information. Once you have an account, our instructor will certify you upon completion of the mandatory requirement of your course.
