Don't just learn it. Apply it. Prove it.
CAL 1 introduced the mindset. CAL II is where you apply it in your own organization over six months, with peer accountability and a facilitator who pushes back when your plan is too easy.
About the course
CAL II is an advanced leadership program: a 2-day workshop followed by guided coaching and peer collaboration across a 6-month period.
You'll work with your cohort to design a change roadmap for your own organization, then apply it. Sessions over the following months hold you accountable to real progress, not just intentions you had on day one.
This is advanced education, not an introduction. You need an active CAL 1 (or equivalent) to enroll.
What you’ll learn
CAL II moves you from understanding agile leadership to proving you can apply it.
• Design organizational value streams and identify where flow is breaking down
• Use the Leadership Agility 360 Assessment to understand your own leadership capability
• Build a change roadmap specific to your organization, not a generic template
• Identify and experiment with the organizational metrics that actually matter
• Navigate agile governance for product delivery, compliance, and finance
• Apply your learning in real time, with peer accountability over six months
What's covered
Two-day workshop, then six months of guided application. The workshop covers the frameworks. The six months that follow are where the real work happens.
2-Day Workshop
• The executive's role in sustaining organizational agility
• Advanced complexity thinking applied to your organization
• Value stream design and flow diagnostics
• Leadership Agility 360 Assessment
Six-Month Application Period
• Four of six virtual sessions (2-3 hours each)
• Peer-based sharing of experience reports
• Facilitator coaching on your organization's actual roadmap
• Validated practice toward CAL II certification
What you need to bring
An active CAL 1, CAL-E/T, or CAL-E/O certification.
• One of: CAL 1, CAL-E/T, or CAL-E/O (any provider)
• Ability to attend 4 of 6 virtual sessions over the 6-month period
• Virtual sessions: set up Zoom and Mural (instructions provided)
Right for you if you are…
• An executive or senior leader ready to apply agile leadership in their own organization, not just learn about it
• A coach or change leader driving a transformation who wants structured accountability
• A CAL 1 alumnus ready for the advanced, applied next step
• A leader who wants validated proof of agile leadership capability, not just a certificate
• Anyone willing to commit six months to real organizational change, not a two-day workshop alone

AI as part of your six-month change application toolkit
AI for tracking your own change roadmap
Across six months, AI helps you structure progress updates and surface where your roadmap is drifting from the plan, so peer sessions focus on the real gaps.
Know where AI tracks, and where you lead
AI can help you organize what's changing in your organization. It can't navigate the politics of the change or build the trust your peers and teams need to follow you. This course keeps that distinction explicit.
